Yea, so by that, I was referring to something like setting the data types outside of the eventReactive() and earlier in the UI, so for example, coercing vs to a numeric within the selectInput(). In this case, the speed improvements would likely be negligible since the data is so small, but just something to keep in mind since the time that dplyr verbs take is not trivial with larger and larger datasets.
